Where cold fronts come from.

The only pictures I have are from the Theodore Roosevelt National Park in the badlands of North Dakota.
That is where the flag is on the map.  Don’t bother clicking the flag it doesn’t do anything.

Prairie dogs town is crazy you can sit and watch these little critters run around and pop their heads up
like whack-a-mole.  Don’t whack the prairie dogs.  And don’t drive fast, they run across the road and
if you run one over it is a federal crime like treason or killing an NSA agent.

This is a panorama from the Cottonwood Campground along the Little Missouri River.

A wild horse eating flowers.

Two wild horses enjoying the view and looking for more flowers.

This is from Badlands Overlook.

Amazing geology is at work.  The rock is moving slowly from right to left and the road
bends to get out of its way. The shrubs on top make the rock look like it has a little wig.

Just before I took this shot on I-94 a 1983 Trans Am drove into the back of that truck.  And on the news I saw that
a young loner on a crusade to champion the cause of the innocent, the helpless, the powerless, in a world of criminals
who operate above the law had just cleaned up Fargo and turbo-boosted over Bismarck.

Rocks and plants and stuff. keep scroling down.

A view from the painted canyon visitor center. Free for everyone on I-94 at exit 32.
